Warranty & Guarantee
Every ReplicaPrime watch comes with a 12-month movement warranty. We tell you exactly what it covers and, just as importantly, what it doesn’t — so there are no surprises later.
What’s Covered — 12-Month Movement Warranty
For 12 months from your delivery date, we cover manufacturer defects in the movement. If the movement stops, loses time significantly, or fails to function under normal wear, we’ll repair or replace it.
- Movement stops running under normal wear
- Automatic winding mechanism fails
- Significant timekeeping deviation (beyond normal mechanical tolerance)
- Date complication fails to advance
- Internal component failure not caused by misuse
If we can’t repair the movement, we replace the watch.
What’s NOT Covered
We’re specific here because vague warranties help no one. The following are not covered:
- Water damage — these watches are splash-resistant, not for swimming or showering. Water inside the case is not a manufacturing defect.
- Physical abuse or impact — drops, knocks, crushing, or any forceful damage
- Scratches and normal wear — bracelet stretch, surface scratches, bezel wear, and finish dulling over time are normal
- Unauthorized modifications — if you or a third party open the watch, swap parts, or modify it, the warranty is void
- Damage from improper handling — over-winding, forcing the crown, pressing pushers underwater, etc.
- Loss or theft
How to Make a Warranty Claim
- Email support with your order number (found in your order confirmation)
- Describe the issue — what’s happening, when it started
- Attach a short video showing the problem (e.g., the watch not running, date stuck)
- We assess within 1–2 business days and confirm whether it’s covered
- If covered: we arrange repair or replacement and guide you through sending it in
Warranty claims are handled case-by-case, honestly. If it’s a real defect, we fix it — no runaround.
Extended Warranty — 24 Months
Want longer coverage? At checkout you can upgrade to a 24-month warranty for a small additional fee. This doubles your movement coverage from 12 to 24 months under the same terms.
- Standard: 12 months (included free with every watch)
- Extended: 24 months (paid upgrade, selectable at checkout)
The extended warranty covers the same manufacturer movement defects — it simply extends the window. It does not add coverage for water damage, abuse, or wear (those are never covered).
Warranty vs. Returns — What’s the Difference?
These are two different things, and it’s worth knowing both:
- Returns (30 days): For a watch that arrives defective or damaged — you can get a refund or replacement. See our Returns page.
- Warranty (12 or 24 months): For a movement defect that develops later, during normal wear — we repair or replace.
A Quick Word on Realistic Expectations
Our watches use Asian automatic movements — reliable, serviceable, and honestly priced at $399. They are not Swiss movements, and we don’t pretend they are. Treated well — kept dry, wound gently, serviced occasionally like any mechanical watch — they’ll serve you for years. Treated roughly or taken swimming, they won’t. The warranty reflects that reality.
